At My Needs Are Simple, we understand the importance of transparency and traceability when it comes to the products our customers purchase. That's why in January 2022, we set ourselves a mission to become GOTS certified for the organic cotton products we source. After months of hard work and dedication, we are proud to announce that in May 2022, we achieved this goal and official become GOTS certifed through the Soil Association UK.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an internationally recognized certification that defines worldwide requirements for organic textiles. From the harvesting of raw materials to the manufacturing process and labelling, textiles that are GOTS certified provide a credible assurance to consumers that the products they purchase are environmentally and socially responsible.

The Soil Association UK is a charity that has been working for over 75 years to transform the way we eat, farm, and care for our natural world. They build real solutions from the ground up, understanding that the issues facing our world are all connected and that food, farming and forestry are a vital part of the solution. Their wholly-owned subsidiary, Soil Association Certification Limited, is the UK’s largest organic certification body.
